“ Great bar, had a bagel also that was delicious but as I bit into it a voice inside my head asked me are you going to finish it? I said to myself I don’t know but we could try colouring the sky with crayons when we get home, I couldn’t get scissor sisters out of my head for weeks so I went to the doghouse to try and perfect my knitting craft but when I got there a man in a long blue jumpsuit hounded me for my cocktail vouchers, I said shove off cockman these vouchies are mine!!! Anyway I used to do a lot of fooling around when I was older but somehow the world looks different today. ”

“ OMG what an amazing place! They have amazing drinks and I LOVE the vibe! Sometimes you can also meet lovely fluffy friends here! People here are so nice and friendly. It is a perfect place to hang out and get some drinks with friends. They have many options with good price and you can also ask for "random" or "recommendation" and get something that might surprise you! I also found that interesting that on the menu and the decor, you could see the dog of the owner - such a beacutiful dog, remember to say hi if you see the dog in there lol!! ”

“ Loved it! Scrumptious, utterly satisfying bagel - I had the Philly. Super dog friendly of course, with treats & water bowls provided, and no rules for the pups which I love. Decent value, nice, helpful staff, easy going atmosphere. Only thing I wish they did was some free cooked food for the dogs like Wapentake next door, considering it's called the Doghouse. But still, enjoyed it & would definitely return to work my way through the tempting bagel menu :) ”

“ Small bar on Kirkgate with a decent selection of beers ( mostly Brixton Ales) The bagels were very good, served in a basket only downside was the wooden cutlery which made it difficult to cut. Great little bar though and an interesting history. ”

“ Super accommodating little bar with vibes and homely feel!! The bagels were delicious, and they were able to adapt them for our needs as well which was so so nice of them. Highly recommend for a pit stop ”

“ Eclectic, cosy bar - don't be deceived by the size, there is seating upstairs as well (just be aware the stairs are narrow and pretty steep). Great range of light bites, especially their bagels, as well as good coffee and great selection of beers. Perfect if you're in town shopping around Corn Exchange / John Lewis area. ”

“ Love love love it. Great selection of ales with a couple of rotating taps. Toilets are clean, cute smoking area with a (mostly) undercover table in case it's raining. No ground toilet that I could see, plus a bit of a step to get in. The bloke behind the bar was a legend and the other customers were too. The vibe is great. Some boards games upstairs. Dogs welcome! Pints are 6 but it's worth it imo. Favourite pub in Leeds! ”
